Description
Descriptions
The ABC dry powder in a dry chemical fire extinguisher is formulated using various base materials, major chemical content mono-ammonium phosphate, ammonium sulfate and silicone oil, etc.
Dry chemical powders are important fire extinguishing agents as they are stable, free flowing and most effective on three-dimensional fires.
The term ‘Dry Powder’ is the general term for a type of extinguisher whereas ABC powder is the type of powder used in most dry powder extinguishers.
Application
ABC dry powder is suitable for extinguishing Class A, B and C fires, hence the name ABC dry powder. Yanghao ABC dry powder has many certificate.
“Class A” fire means wood, paper and general combustible materials; “Class B” fire means inflammable liquids, petroleum, gasoline, grease, etc.; “Class C” refers to combustible gases such as gas, natural gas, methane, acetylene, hydrogen, etc.
